What is a damage collision waiver?
Collision Damage Waiver or CDW is an optional insurance coverage that can be added to a customer’s reservation to protect against financial liability in case of damage or an accident.
How do I add damage collision waiver?
Before starting their reservation, customers have the option of paying for the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) via mobile app.
Simply add the option on the reservation window before starting the reservation.
Can I get a damage collision waiver for daily and pay per minute rentals?
Yes, you can add CDW for both daily and pay per minute rentals.
How is CDW charged for daily and pay per minute cars?
- CDW charge for Daily cars varies on each car.
- CDW charge for PPM cars will be charged per minute and capped to 3 hours (Price varies on each car).
In the event of gross negligence, an unauthorized driver, vandalism, or the absence of a police record, CDW shall be null and void.
Is there an age restriction on CDW?
Customers under the age of 25 who have CDW are still liable for 20% of the total claim.
